Abby –
This cleared up my whiteheads that had been there for as long as I remember! Yes there was a slight break out, not noticeable to others, but dam if that’s what it takes to get rid of the little buggers it’s well worth it. I’ve only used it for a few days, would love to see how it does over time
JHNcle –
Only been using it a couple of weeks (2 to 3 times a week) its bringing white heads that I didn’t know i had to surface, not sure what will happen next. Definitely need to use fac 50 sunscreen with it.

Since I started using this , I have noticed that my whiteheads and pores are starting to shrink. I was quite surprised considering I haven’t using it that long. It is very effective so I would recommend it if you have stubborn whiteheads you wanted to get rid off.

This product has changed my skin care game. I have very sensitive skin and can’t handle physical exfoliants. So I wanted to try chemical exfoliants but were very expensive. Came across CosRx AHA power liquid which is so inexpensive and does such a wonderful job. My skin has become so smooth and even. Have been using this for 3 years now. Love CosRx products, complete value for money.

I have been using this for awhile now, and purposely waited a month or better to review this product to give a more accurate review.
I really like this product. I had, up until this point, never used a chemical peel; so I was more than a little nervous about jumping into this sort of thing.
Skin background, I had acne from pretty much age 12 and up. I’m 26 now, and for awhile my skin had gotten much better…around the 16 mark it started to slightly improve and by 20-something it wasn’t a huge problem. I still had issues with some things (most moisturizers broke me out, I couldn’t wear lipstick…ever. or…stains..or any kind. literally just if it went on your lips it broke me out.) but, for the most part, it was mostly handled.
Then I had surgery at the end of last year, was on antibiotics for awhile, and on bed rest for a month or so while healing. My skin went stupid. I went from maybe one or two small zits occasionally (with hyperpigmentation) to all of a sudden 5-7 every few days. My entire chin was red, everything was just horrible and terrible. I had no idea what was causing it, medication, surgery, reactions, whatever. I tried cutting out various foods for awhile at a time, nothing helped. Cutting out sugar, caffeine, wheat, meat (at different times of course) – literally nothing made any difference whatsoever.
So, last hope, I buy this. Again, chemical peels were the one things i hadn’t tried before. So. This.
It works so bloody good, man. I really can’t say enough. This, plus taking fish oil omega 3’s, has made a drastic shift in my skin. I am still oily, I feel I may be oily to the day I die, but as of right now I have 0 active zits on my face. Over say a week period (even DURING PMS) I’ve had a reduction of severity of about 98%. I can wear lipsticks and lipstains a lot easier with less problems, scars fade faster, pimples I do get last shorter. I’m in the camp that rarely if ever gets black heads, I always get kinds with whiteheads and it sucks – but this makes it suck a lot less.
Other positive things, I HATE fake fragrance in things. I just hate it. This has none, and yes, it smells a tiny bit, but not terrible and it fades quickly.
I have such oily skin, I put this AHA on twice a day, every day, and my skin actually feels softer after. It does not dry out my skin whatsoever, it does not make it more sensitive. If you have dry skin, you know, be careful about it, but for me ~oily mcoilslick~ it works great.
If you have whiteheads, if you have oily skin, if you have sensitive skin, if you have hormonal acne, if you have acne that leaves you scratching your head because all of a sudden it decided to rain down upon your face like armageddon blasting down upon the once great planet – BUY THIS
(and, also, maybe, try taking at least 500mg of omega 3s? omega 3s from fish oil specifically works well for me. primrose oil and flax and things like that haven’t helped as much, but fish oil did. so, you know, just a mild suggestion to try out if you haven’t already.)
I have not been paid or compensated in any way for my review of this product, I did not receive the product free or for any sort fo discount – but, hey Cosrx, I will definitely do so if you send me more things because I am officially a fan..

I do believe it does help with whiteheads. I use it twice a week because it is fairly strong product

Firstly, i love Cosrx products they’re just so simple and effective and they just do what they say they will. I was using the nip and fab range but my skin decided it was to harsh for it so i decided to try this instead, great exfoliating toner, does what it says on the tin kind of thing. Pores look clearer and less noticable, its not drying which i looove! Definitely will use this instead of nip and fab from now on!

This is my honest detailed review, I purchased Cosrx AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid 100ml from the store K-beauty store on January 31 2017. I have been using it for around a little over 3 months now. I have Prime so the product came quickly. My overall review is that it is okay but not worth the hype. If you want the full detailed review then please read on. Hope this helps someone.
Pros:
-There is a decent amount of product
-Did not irritate or dry out my acne prone sensitive dry skin
– pump so it’s hygienic
– maybe a decent AHA chemical exfoliator due to glycolic acid
-No fragrance ( one of the worst chemicals for the skin)
– My product seems legitimate and not counterfeit
Cons:
-Did not help reduce pimples/ whiteheads
-Did not do anything for existing acne bumps
– The amount of product is not bad but a little pricey
-Did very little to help complexion overall all ( so did not do what was advertised)
My skin type:
I am one of those unlucky few that has dry skin and acne. My skin is dry, sensitive, with mild acne. I have always had fairly clear skin until my 20s. I get little 4-5 acne bumps on my cheek, and deep pus filled pimples around my cycle or if my diet gets poor. I have tried numerous things to clear up my skin, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, tea tree oil, sulfur soap etc. nothing seems to help. My acne is mild compared to others but the small bumps always eventually become deep pus filled whiteheads (one at a time). To add insult to injury, my skin is scar prone. I have dark marks due to these pimples and I cannot treat them because the acne keeps resurfacing. I use the K beauty routine which has helped, and with Cosrx great reviews with acne I decided maybe this is what my skin needed. Nope.
Ingredients list:
Pyrus malus (Apple) fruit water, butylene glycol, glycolic acid, water, niacinamide, sodium hydroxide, 1,2-hexanediol, panthenol, sodium hyaluronate, xanthan gum, ethyl hexanediol
Product packaging:
The packaging is simple and plain. The bottom comes in a cardboard box that is white. The text is black and is in Korean and English. It has a tape at the top that closed the box. The product comes in a cylinder. It has a pump that has a top. The bottle is plastic and transparent and the top pump is black. It has the company name on a stick on the front and black text in the back. The bottom of the product has the manufacturing date of “2016.10.07” and the expiration date 2 years later(normal with Kbeauty products) “2018.10.06”. The product itself is water like in consistency and has a mild smell. My product does not look like a counterfeit so make sure you check your products before use!
How I used it: I know they tend to recommend using watery products with cotton balls or cotton wipes, however I don’t recommend it because it is a waste of product. Cotton tends to absorb most of the product. I just wash my hands, pat it dry with a paper towel then dispense the product onton my hand. I gently pay the product on my face and neck, and I am really carefully around the eye area.
Product Performance:
Cosrx has been a company that many praise, sadly this product did not work for me. I first spot tested it and I had no reaction so I used it all over my face. After my toner and essence step I applied this. I used at max three pumps. At first it itched the heck out of my skin. I know the directions said if one experiences severe stimulation then wash it off after around 5min but I decided to leave it on. I think it has about around 2% glycolic acid which is an AHA so, if you are new to AHAs like me then the itching can be normal. I swore that my skin would break out but the next morning my skin was fine. I slowly went from using it once a week to two to three times a week. I saw no results. So I decided to use it after my toner but before or without my Missha Essence but nothing. I waited 10-20 minutes at times before the next product use to ensure full absorption but no different in my deep white heads. So it did not do anything for removing or shrinking pimple like it claimed, even with mild acne. Since glycolic acid and AHAs are meant to remove debris from the surface of the skin maybe it helped reduced future pimples? However my break outs have not reduced. It has not aided in brightening aka “whitening”( in Kbeauty terms). I will give it another shot because it does have glycolic acid and niacinamide which are supposed to aid with the reduction of uneven skin. I have been using it for months so I am disappointed but I will just use it as a mild chemical exfoliant since I spent money. Hopefully after 6 moths I’ll see some results.
Overall:
It does not help with white heads, especially if they are deep. I have mild acne and it did nothing. I will keep trying it as a chemical exfoliant and will do an update if I see a difference. Maybe this will help some of you but it did nothing for me.
