This is the best sunscreen by far that I’ve ever used. We travel to the Caribbean three times a year and because of this product, I don’t burn. It goes on thick and keeps me from burning! Perfect!

I developed a handful of allergies recently, and in addition to those, I also can no longer tolerate fragrance in any products I use. My husband and I used to use ThinkSport, a mineral sunscreen—but found out there is sunflower oil in it, which I am allergic to (and unfortunately learned the hard way). We ran to the nearest store and found a tube of this CeraVe, and had to give it a try. We prefer mineral sunscreens, and were so happy that this one seemed to have ingredients that were safe for me. Mineral sunscreens always take a while to rub in, but it worked perfectly once it was on, and it didn’t budge afterward. There was definitely still a slight white cast, but it wasn’t that bad once it was rubbed in. I was in and out of the lake, hiking, and sweating, and 10 hours later still had to scrub it off in the shower. It’s great stuff if you live an active life, have allergies and eczema, and prefer mineral sunscreens!

It did not blend in. I returned it and bought another product that does the same thing. The new product is way more expensive, but it appears to blend in.

Leaves a heavy white residue and doesn’t rub well into skin. I had to scrub my legs extra hard with wash cloth multiple times for sunscreen to remove. Please consider removing this item altogether from the shelves until Cerave is able to formulate a replacement product.

I only made the switch from the AM facial moisturizer with SPF to straight SPF because from what I’ve read, moisturizer mixed with SPF dilutes the sunscreen making it less effective. That being said, I’m not sure if it is because it is SPF 50 making it thicker but my god it does not blend in easily. I put lotion on my damp face (I spray rose water on prior) right before layering on the sunscreen to help it blend but majority of the time I’m left with white streaks. If the brand didn’t cost a decent amount, I would have switched by now. Maybe to a different brand- tinted moisturizer as I hear those blend easily. Since I started using it, I can’t wait to finish the bottle just to be done with it.
