This has helped my skin stay clear, and is good on my sensitive and currently dry winter skin. I would recommend using the 2nd and 3rd products once a day to start out, I did it morning and evening for the first week and it dried me out a LOT. but even with that it’s a great product.

I bought the extra strength kit at the end of December. I have shared photos of my results from Jan 1st – Jan 15th. The bottles say it’s recommended to use twice a day but I’ve only been using them once a day (because my skin has been prone to getting very dry when using similar products) even though my face produces a lot of oil.
After using Paula’s Choice acne kit, I apply moisturizer but it’s not Paula’s choice brand; it’s just unscented/no color lotion. I have noticed that without a moisturizer, Paula’s Choice would also cause my face to become dry.
(FYI the products in the kit are un-scented.)
I started having severe hormonal acne on my cheeks, under my nose, chin and jaw line, after having my son in 2021. I’m 27 now..had your basic, occasional teenage pimples, maybe 2-3 at a time every few weeks. But this adult hormonal acne is a different story…they’re bigger, I’ll get 4+ at a time, they’re redder and more painful. (And for background info, I’m not on any form of birth control so that’s not contributing to my breakouts.) They take forever to go away. I’ve had worse breakouts than photographed.
I’ve tried everything.. proactiv, curology, and anything you could find on shelves. Nothing worked like Paula’s Choice has, so far. The pimples that usually take a month or more just to start healing, have began fading away after 2 weeks of use. It seems Paula’s Choice has helped prevent new acne as well. I have been getting 3-4+ pimples a WEEK and have only gotten 1-2 new ones in the last 2 weeks; but they haven’t gotten as big or red as the ones in the photos.
I may try using the products twice a day, as recommended, to see if it helps more with future breakouts and to finish clearing up my previous acne spots. I’m satisfied with the purchase and as long as it continues working I plan on buying the whole set again.
I recommend trying Paula’s Choice if nothing else has worked for you.

I have tried EVERYTHING for my acne. EVERYTHING. Nuetrogena, La Roche-Posay, Differin Gel, Alba Botanica’s acne dote, random stuff from the store, a mix of cetiphil soap and hibbacleanse (is that how you spell it?), and even nothing at all. Everything either gave me a permanent sunburn, made my skin peel/flake, or gave me more acne. Ever since I was 12 years old, I’ve been searching and searching for the right product. I think this is it. I ordered the regular strength travel size, and I love it. The first thing you will notice about Paula’s Choice trial size is that it is, well, tiny. The bottles are VERY small. But don’t let that get you down. I found that the small size is actually helpful, because it helps you conserve the product and not use too much, which could cause irritation. Tip: The instructions on the bottle may not always be the instructions for your skin. What I mean by this is that sometimes we all can be very tempted to follow the “use one to three times a day” instructions the brand gives us, though our skin is individual and unique and may require more or less, depending on skin sensitivity, severity of acne, etc. I started using the cleanser in the evening, then I washed with a normal cleanser the next morning, and then I used the cleanser, toner, and treatment, that evening. The next day, I started using the cleanser and toner in the morning and all three of them at night. That is what I have been doing for the past 3 weeks, and there is still about 1-2 weeks left I think in the bottles! The next thing I want to say is IT DOES NOT WORK MIRACLES! It’s not going to just magically clear up your acne overnight. it’s going to take time, and you’re going to have to have some patience. I’ve been using it for three weeks and have seen some great improvement! But the first 1-4 days I didn’t see much of a difference at all. I have really, really bad acne on the sides of my face and on my chin/jaw area. I get pimples a lot on my cheeks and forehead too, but the chin/jaw and sides of my face near my ears has the worst acne; with bright, big, red and very painful pimples. This acne treatment really helped prevent new pimples from forming, it made the existing ones smaller and less painful, and it makes my skin feel and look way better. I’m not really sure what the anti-redness stuff does, but the other things have helped. One last tip: Make sure you have a good face sunscreen and moisturizer before using this. Benzoyl peroxide is known to dry out your skin and make it more prone to sunburns. So, grab yourself a really great sunscreen that won’t cause acne, and a moisturizer that is you a rich, and non-greasy. I use Alba Botanica’s aloe and green tea moisturizer, and it is absolutely perfect with this product.
Bottom Line: Get your skin used to this treatment before you use it full-on, have patience, and team it with good moisture and sun protection!
I totally recommend this product, so if you’re still on the fence, GET IT! The trial size is very low-commitment, and won’t make your acne worse, so there’s really no reason NOT to try this! Hope your story is as happy as mine! 🙂

Okay so I’ve been using this for almost 3 weeks, NOW while it worked on my frequent mild/moderate acne, it DESTROYED my natural skin barrier 😩😩 my once glowy, soft (even with acne) is now a dry, peeling, irritated mess 😭😭😭 I only use a little once sometimes twice a day and I’m happy my acne slowed down a lot, but I’m still crying (literally) from my forehead to my upper chest area is RED and patchy 😩😩 I’m hoping it calms after a month but if not I’ll be moving on from this

I purchased this product a while ago. Months ago in fact. And have continued to use it. I have sensitive oily skin. This works great for me. It clear up my breakouts within a week and has continued to keep the acne away. I used to get stubborn acne all around the mouth and around the top of my forehead and hairline. It’s gone. I’ve also notice my pores has reduced in size as well. At first it will kick your skins ass but it will get used to it. It will dry it out a little just use small portions twice daily at first. Then one time daily usually when you shower to go to bed or just before bed. It even prevents breakouts from happening I’ll see a little redness dot then it disappears the next day or 2. I will continue to use this product. Please don’t change the formula!

I’m so sad because I felt like it was starting to work, but I had a bad allergic reaction out of the blue. At first it just made my neck red and itchy, but it worked so well I dealt with it. Then one morning I woke up with my eyes swollen shut. I have literally never had an allergic reaction from skincare before, so I have no clue what it could be. I know it’s this, because it’s the only thing new to my routine. I isolated all three products and I think it’s the cream or the exfoliant. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend regular strength.
