DISCLAIMER! before I get started I want to say this was my personal experience with the cleanser! everyone’s skin type is different so my experience might not be the same as yours and that is ok! I would still recommend buying and trying and formulating your own opinion!!!
Also, if you haven’t consulted your personal physician or a dermatologist, I would highly recommend doing so before you spend copious amounts of money on facial cleansers that you are not sure that will work properly with your skin and this goes for any and all skin cleansers not just this one!
So I have been looking for a solid facial cleanser and I did hours or reading and viewing reviews and I was told this was THE BEST face wash on the Market for any and all skin types. I have herd Thea’s things from dermatologist and facial care specialist. This facial cleanser is an excellent choice however, it is not a cure all… first off their claim it is supposed to be moisturizing. I have been using this cleanser for about 2-3 years now and I always find my self to have is dry and flaky skin on my face quite frequently… If I scratch an itch on my face my skin just flakes off… I’ve even accompanied the cleanser with a moisturizer after washing the cleanser off and STILL dry, flaky, itchy, skin. In addition with in this past year I have began developing deep skin acne and the cleanser hasn’t done much to help. if I going to be paying 30-60$ per bottle this better do the trick I can’t go dropping all that cash for a product that doses not hold true to the advertisement. Finally I want to end this on a lighter note I will say the fragrance is quite nice it has a very refreshing smell! along with the texture of the cleanser itself it feels quite rich and thick witch makes me feel like it is definitely a well formulated product! Was this the product for me not necessarily but would it work for you? Who knows give it a try!

I’ve tried a lot of face washes on market n most u can’t use for long term due to not cleaning enough n u end up with enlarged pores or too stripping over time that ends up with dryness n irritated skin so I had 2 different cleaners I jumped between but with this product it’s perfectly balanced for my sensitive oliy skin type n will be the only face wash I’ll use from now on… amazing product 😊

This has a great smell and light foam when applied. It does not strip the skin and overall appears to be sensitive skin safe. This is a gel and is robust enough to remove makeup and be placed in a night time routine.

I have really sensitive skin so finding a cleanser that doesn’t burn my face or turn me red is hard. I saw this one on Tik Tok and decided to give it a try. It’s worth the hype! It doesn’t burn my skin or turn me red and it’s done wonders for my skin. It gives me a nice glow & makes my skin feel refreshed after each wash. Although it is a little pricey, I’d still recommend if you’re willing to splurge a little. I’ve had it for about 3 months now and I’m only half way through the bottle. A little bit goes a long way.

This is fragranced beautifully to me, it smells like a salad. But many people are irritated by fragrance in skincare so steer clear if that’s you. Bottle was smaller than I hoped but it’s glass so that feels nice and substantial. This works into an elegant lather and feels so nice while you’re washing your face, that must be the reason so many people like it. However I have combination-oily skin and even I found this slightly drying, really it’s best for oily skin I think. Dry skin people I don’t see you enjoying this. Unless you’re double cleansing with oil, this is really good to break that oil up. The other concern I had is after 2 night of using it, I had some little bumps around my eye which is a fright. I do think it was because of this product, something in it must’ve spooked my skin, I know that can happen w products w lots of fruit and vegetable extracts/fragrances/essential oils (skincare is not food!! Idk why they market it to us that way, must be exploiting our hungry primitive instincts). But after continuing to use it, that reaction went away. Who knows. I use it almost every night now and after every oil cleanse. I couldn’t use this as a single cleanse every night because it would leave my skin a little tight, I like to use it a few times a week and rotate with gentle cleaners too. It really leaves a nice clean feeling.

I have very sensitive skin and tried many skin cleansers and this has been the least irritating one, my skin feels moisturized and cleansed. Not dry and irritated, It helped reduce my acne breakouts significantly. I love how a little product goes a long way. I’m considering trying the mask aswell.

First off, I am 28 years old, I have combination to oily skin and also very sensitive skin around my cheeks and forehead.
The cleanser comes in a refillable glass bottle with a pump, which I love since it is cleaner and doesn’t contaminate the product when in use. The product has a distinct “green and healthy” smell but for me personally it is not that strong and also it never irritated my skin. All in all everything’s good here.
This superfood cleanser is very thorough, it takes off all of my makeup and leaves the skin feeling very clean and refreshed. I’d like to add that I always do a double cleanse so the YTTP cleanser is my second step after my oil cleanser. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied as I had other cleanser where I could still feel lingering residue on my skin. I do feel that the cleanser, after consistent use, can be a bit drying to my skin. That is not a big concern for me though because I make sure to use a hydrating serum and a good moisturizer afterwards. So I wouldn’t count it as a negative effect per se.
The price can be a bit much though, so while I think this cleanser works very well and does a great job I do think that the price is somewhat of a show stopper. But given the fact that they use good ingredients and you get solid packaging with refillable options it can be worth the splurge.
